I would like to crop pictures of people & faces and put them on a different background for a leaflet I am creating, can anyone recommend any such software, I tried one called photoflex or something useing smart scissors but it would not complete the crop??? so would now like an alternative.

I have to say I find Picasa very easy to use and it's my weapon of choice when I CBA to load up Photoshop.

Picasa...it will let you crop to keep the current ratio, or choose from preset ratios, or let you enter your own i.e. 100px x 100px
You can straighten the horizon as well which can be really useful.
