Can’t you just buy a new fork? would probably be cheaper?

wouldn’t it cheaper/less hastle to buy a replacement fork off Isla than finding a welder and powder coater and all the running around with it?
or are you just after a cheap shoddy bodge job?

I have emailed Islabikes and asked that very thing. waiting to hear back but my gut feeling is that they won’t sell forks on their own. I’m not after a shoddy bodge but if it’s a fair bit cheaper to get somebody to weld a new brake boss on then I’m happy to do that. Eldest has outgrown it and youngest has just started on it, she doesn’t care what it looks like, she just wants to ride it. Had wondered about Shand, will try them if Islabikes can’t help.

Wow!!! Islabikes in (maybe) being shit shocker 😯
    😉

a drill and a BMX caliper brake would sort out most kids for braking (and me if I’m honest)

Have found a fork on ebay but it looks a fair bit chunkier than the Islabike fork.

I’m in Glasgow and do that kind of stuff, if it helps…
