  • Fox forks- different colouring of anodising on stantions?

    Just noticed on a brand new set of Fox forks on my bike that the l/h stantion is a few shades lighter in the anodising than the right (right=oil leg, left=air spring). Now, I’ve never seen this on any other fork, especially not rockshox.

    Has anyone else had or seen this? Is this bad QC?

    One leg come from one batch, the other from another that’s all. You’ll often see it on dh forks when one of the stanchions has been replaced (especially rock shox, I have a Boxxer like that here)

    I have seen it on lots of different forks don’t stress just ride them.
