I need to bleed my Formula Oros, and I'm feeling a bit tight to spring for the official bleed kit — £20 for a couple of syringes and a pair of screw fittings seems like theft. Does anyone know what the screw thread on the bleed screws is — I'll source some fittings from our local hydraulic supply place.

It's the same size as for the Avid bleed kit, if the info is easier to find for that.

Aquarium pipe joins cut with a correct sized M bolt have been known to work. Plastic is so soft it cuts easily and they are cheaper than chips. Use the line too. However I use an Avid Kit, like the previous chap.
