I need to remove the lever from my rear brake in order to replace the reach mechanized which is broken. By the looks of things the pin needs to be forced out once this is done is it replaceable? or will I have to buy a new pin as well

    hope this makes some sense.

which in pin? The lever pivot shaft is retained by a grub screw on Oros. I wouldn’t know about any others.

    Which brakes are they?

You don’t need to force anything.

If you mean the pivot pin you just need to tap it out AFTER you slacken the grub screw which is located in a recess behind the span adjustment screw and, I think, takes a 2mm allen key. Shine a light in behind the span adjuster and you’ll see the screw I mean. Then tap out the pivot pin with a 3mm allen key or similar.

No worries dude – nice to be appreciated 🙂

There’s a handy TECH SHEET here which may be useful too.
