I opened a tin of 'Heinz Big Soup' the other day, something I have eaten lots of times before, and inside found a large piece of brown, sloppy paper or cardboard! 
What would you do about this? Complain to the company who will probably just ignore it? Or somebody else?
I kept it btw, and the label off the tin.
NO contact them they won't ignore it at all and enjoy your many cans of free soup.
stick it in a ziplock bag and send it back to them.
many years ago my mate for a £5 postal order for finding a bit of gristle in a ginsters pasty.
They will reimburse you ad apologise usually.
At least it was only cardboard...
Write to the company, they won't ignore it. Or contact the shop you bought it from especially if it's one of the big supermarkets. If your claim is genuine you'll probably get some sort of voucher compensation. Somewhere between £10 and £50.
FSA is your other bet.

I would rant about being outraged and about my definite intent of writing a letter of complaint to Heinz.
And then do absolutely nothing. Because I can't be arsed to worry about stuff like that, and because there are more important things in life.
