especially you Fred as I've helped you in the past
I'm not against doing someone a favour at all. I've done stuff for people on here, they've helped me out. What goes around comes around.
No, what I object to, and I know that others will agree with me, is the way companies are forever trying to get something for nowt, without respecting other people's profession and craft.
'Oh you could just knock it up in a few minutes, won't be no hassle for you'.
No, just like it's been no hassle to spend thousands and thousands of pounds on computer hardware and software, electricity, books etc; no hassle to dedicate thousands of hours to learning to use specialist software; no hassle trying to earn a pound coin in an increasingly competitive industry which is pretty depressed atm. No, no hassle at all.
Sorry, Ruminant, but that's how I and others see it. I hope you can respect and appreciate where we're coming from.
Now, had you perhaps offered a few quid, donation to charity, bottle of something nice etc, maybe your request may have been taken in a better light.
