Fixing a slice in a shoe

At the end of yesterday’s Hit the North I noticed I had a slice in the outside of my shoe, about an inch long right through.
It’s been caused by something sharp and spinny as it’s a nice clean cut.
What would need the best way of repairing it ad they’re only 3 rides old
