Instructions state that I need to feed the cable housing through the entry and exit holes, implying that the housing is fitted first then the cable is threaded through. However, being a tight-fisted Scot, I want to just fit my current cables, pre-assembled with cable-caps and all.
Is this going to be easy to do or is it a job I'll wish I'd never started and end up cursing myself for not having done it "properly"?

Just answered my own question - new cables needed...
I did my k-wings yesterday. My gear cables are still external (105's) but fed my brake cables and outers through. I had new cables too. It was a doddle to be honest, my outers fitted through no problem. I cut the new outers slightly longer, bent the end as per the instructions, the clipped the bend outer bit to neaten it up

I'll need new cables because the rear brake cable is internally routed through the top tube which looks a bit trickier. Will give it a go tomorrow.
Do it now because if its sunny tomorrow,you might take the rage if things dont go to plan ;O)
