it's go that Gary Fisher 'beer belly frame' look a bit more this year, hasn't it.

It's why I'd buy an Anthem, tbh.

The Reign looks a bit better. I think it's the contrast of the straight toptube and curved downtube that ruins the Trance X for me.

I like the new Norco's, nowt particularly wrong with the Trance either, but doesn't 'do' anything for me either

Cant say im a fan of the beer belly downtubes that seem to be appearing on a number of bikes (Griant / Specialized etc). Im sure its no heavier than straight downtubes, but it just looks cumbersome.

Have Giant ever made a good looking bike? 😐

I'm no fan of suspension bikes, but a bike that goes as well as a Trance can never be ugly 🙂

I thought this was rather nice looking from Giant.

You only really notice the beer belly in photos. And it looks hideous. In the flesh, they're ok (ish)

At least the head tube looks like its shorter after the tall front ends on the 09 & 10 reigns and trances. Yuck.

Head angle looks steep…..

I think it's more the pattern on the rims on the trance x that I have an issue with.

Never liked the Kona full-sus bikes. They just look wrong, out of proportion maybe.
As for Sue Pollard… You can with yours, but no way in hell…

The VT2 was a minger too.

Most large framed bikes look minging. Thats hardly the best example.
That Giant DH1 is of its time. Current kona stab however is not.

Oh God… I normally like the look of Giants, but with the bulging downtube and straight top tube that Anthem looks like a fat bloke trying to hoik his belt up.

As for the VT…

Dinnae think mine's too bad. I like the look of the new Trance, but I'm always unsure about reigns.

All those frames with bent down tubes look like ladies step throughs with a top tube stuck on
