Flashes, I used to ride one of those as a trail bike when I was a lad. Hand change, skidplate, footboards. Good for demolishing small trees. Nothing has frightened me since.

Ah the ISDE in Builth. Happy days. I remember the Swedish fans throwing fence posts at Arthur in the final test. Nearly caused a riot!
Does my memory let me down or was it Andy Roberton who damaged a shoulder but managed to start and finish each day with another rider, Alan Bates or Alan Brick??? subbing for him during the day.Posted 1 year ago #
