Can anybody remind me where to go to view Eurosport free online? Interested in seeing the more interesting Olympic stuff like Biathlon which the Beeb doesn’t bother showing (choosing stupid boring stuff instead!)

…just in case anybody else is interested, I noted that the URL for this thread is http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/eurosport-2 so thought I’d try http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/eurosport and some useful info there, and I also found it at http://cricfree.tv/euro-sports.php (click on all the crosses to get rid of the overlay ads).

Though currently showing even more boring snooker (and checking the schedule they don’t even seem to have much Olympic coverage) 🙁

    They’re showing every event. HTH.

Afaik, Eurosport are not showing the Olympics because they don’t have the broadcasting rights (it was mentioned last week during both the ski jumping and alpine world cup coverage). They are showing a highlights programme but it is pretty high level.

Maybe – but the coverage is pretty rubbish. About 5 minutes worth of the hour long skiathlon just shown. Presumably so they can get on with showing every detail of the dancers wearing skates doing their warm ups.

Clearly I can’t expect to see anything on Eurosport, but doubtless if they did have rights we’d get complete live coverage of the XC skiing and biathlon.

…have now found links to live coverage on the beeb website, but the live biathlon isn’t working 🙁 (and as predicted BBC2 is showing dancers warming up).

…and it gets better, now the hockey has finished red button also switches to dancers.

I’m currently watching luge and biathlon. I suggest that you blame your ISP rather than the BBC.

Seems reasonable to blame BBC for only dancing being available on broadcast TV when they have 2 channels and other real sports taking place. That and the problem appears to be related to the funny way they’re using Flash – eventually got it working though a bit late.
