Nice that! Rear mech cable looks a bit snug though.
    And as for the yard/garden…………

Nice. My ’03 bike is still on original paint but that’s just about the only thing that’s original on it.

Me too. As Spesh now do an Epic EVO I have wondered about picking up an old Epic and building my own EVO version. Would like to be able to either disable the Brain or replace shock with a normal operation one though.

Awesome refurb. How does the ride compare with the original build?

BTW – where did you get the “decals” done?

I think you need to get the lawnmower out! Nice bike though.

Thanks all! The decals where done at CCA signs in East Lothian. They are mountain bikers themselves and know their stuff …
As for how it feels to ride, it does exactly feel as before ie fantastic. I was just a pretty proud today taking it out on it’s maiden ride in the off-white coat 🙂 BTW this might come to other Epic riders surprise but I never had an issue with The Brain …
The decals are in reference (and hommage I guess) to my ‘Heimat’, the crests are the crest from my village (Oeflingen, Oeflingerin is a female person from Oeflingen)and the crest of the Bundesland it is in … You might even spot the tiny wee German flag on the seat tube …
And big thanks to Kaesae who yesterday sorted us out with replacement bearings as the guys at the lacquer place (Hendersons in Edinburgh) has given us a set of another bike… he really save my w/e!!

And yes, Kenny, the grass needs cutting :-))
