Just got passed on a link to this edinburgh leisure MTB survey – seems like they are thinking about an Edinburgh based trail centre. Sounds good to me – I live 2 mins from Braid Hills – would be good to have a mini-glentress on my doorstep.

I’m led to believe the Craigmillar park trails have had issues over land ownership (multiple land owners)
Edinburgh Leisure are looking at developments at Birdiehouse burn
They have a survey out at the moment.

yep. couldn’t find much more info behind the scenes – nothing on the edinburgh leisure website. do you know anymore about it?

I recieved the survey from a contact of mine in Edinburgh Leisure, from what I remember this is at proposal stage at the moment, but with Craigmillar Park falling I reckon they are putting all there resources into this.
