Hope he has'nt been taking perfectly good bits off it and replacing them with 'better' bits - check it out first!
Hmm, I'm running around 190 at the moment. Today's afan trip tells me I can get away with a little less which seems to go along with splodges advice. I started to get a good feel for the bike today and although it'll take a little getting used to, I think I've made a very wise choice.
I understand that the rp23 comes with the dcg mod as standard on the 2011 models and I don't believe it's a HV can.
I'll give it some time and then think about a coil.
Still can't get this fork right though. I never usually suffer arm pump but did today even running the fork well below the recommended pressure. I ended up at 60lbs with zero comp damp. I'm a bit pissed off with it tbh.
Think I'll drop mojo a line. The bikes filthy right now so I'll get some pics put up as soon as I can.
I have a week in the gower coming up
yes, 2011 has a factory mod as standard. afaik it still has a hv can?
the turner forum is very helpful if you have any problems... just don't upset the homers
had mine for a year and i'm very happy with it. using a offset shock bush at the moment. HA 67* bb 13.8/9
will try an offset head set headset at some point...

[NorthCountryBoy how much do you weigh?]
one of my biggest complaints about the rp23, was that with the correct sag the shock would blow through its travel. dgc mod helped but it still wasn't great.
I weigh 80 kg (12 stone) never had a problem with the RP 23 running as low as 160 psi useing all the travel, not affraid to let it hit the internal bump stop! Never feels harsh or bottomed out. Run some big ol tyres fairly soft too, that probably helps a bit.
