Can anyone give me an idiots guide on how to rip a DVD to hard drive? I have downloaded something called Handbrake and also VLC media player. The DVD i want to rip is a TV series so its got about six episodes on each disk. So far i've only managed to rip the first episode on the disk – i just can't make it do all six.

Download DVDFab and just use it.

The default on Handbrake seems to be to look for the single largest programme. Great for ripping films though.

I'm trying DVDFab now, it appears to be working but its doing it in real time. Think I'm going to be here for a while!

on handbrake you just need to alter either the chapters or the title to get the other episodes. They're on popup menus

Retro, its set to the default which it says is all chapters.

On DVDFab if i do one episode it does the sound, if i do the whole disk there is no sound! Think I'll just forget it and take the disks away with me.
