I got sent back after about 10 minutes as I wasn't as suggestible as others on the stage. At no point does the hypnotist say – now your hypnotised, he just gets everyone relaxed then starts asking everyone to do fairly basic things like, imagine you are driving a car, imagine you are hot

everyone does it – evan me. You don;t shout out, no I'm not hypnotised. no one does

they send back the ones who aren;t really getting into it, then keep ramping up the things they ask the others to do. By this time they are stuck – they can't suddenly say "i'm not going to pretend to be a monkey", because earlier they were pretending to be Freddie Mercury – everyone would think they were an idiot. so they keep acting like they are hypnotised

I am also uncreative (as an art student, this worries me somewhat) 🙁
I have seen my brother 'under the influence' of stuff like this. We were mucking about with Paul Mckenna's 'think yourself thin' CD. didn't seem to have any effect on me or my other brother, but the younger one started shaking quite terribly. he was actually quite frightened. not sure if it's really the same thing though..

Liked the fact it wasn't live – when the theatre audience was getting up, all of a sudden there were a lot of them at the front showing it wasn't real time. Probably the only bit was the phone in – and of course you couldn't see him as it was just the talking which was live – the screen showed a pre recorded bit.

But to be fair he's done three things

1 – got people to watch for a second time when it was so bad last week
2 – some people were no doubt stuck to their chair – but don't worry you're creative and not highly suggestible
3 – some people phoned up to say they were stuck to the chair and PAID for the privilege !!!!
