Decent Forks for around £100?

Hi

Looking for some decent forks around £100, for XC use.

Found these 2

Any idea which would be better? Whats the differecen between the Tora 302 and the Tora SL?

Any other options around £100, and anyone got a wiggle voucher?

I am buying them as a gift, so 2nd hand isnt really an option. Persons previous forks were some crappy manitou jobbies that have seized, so I figured the Toras would be a decent upgrade?

Either of the Tora's will be fine though the SL I suspect is lighter given 2010 specs?
2010 SL's
302 Coils
they're both good value forks, one of the reasons so many firms use them.

I can second that about Toras. Heavy though but for the money very good. Good forks to learn how to maintain them on too.

You could get some rigid carbon ones for that price.

They'd be a lot lighter.
A lot more reliable.
Look nicer.
And you'll be surprised how well thay actually soak up the small stuff.

I got some recon 327 solo air for just over your budget from merlin some time ago and I'm happy with them.

If you can stretch to £150, the Tora 318 has Motion Control damping like the mid range Reba, Revelation and Pike.

The SL has a lighter steerer. Pretty good fork for the money, once it's settled in.
