Hi all, I have been drawing maps using Illustrator and struggling using the mouse, any advice on a reasonably priced tablet input device – not too complicated or pricey – I’m no graphics whizz.

Wacom are a big name in tablets – I use one of their Intuos tablet for CAD work and it’s the mutts, but they do a Bamboo range which is simpler & cheaper(and would probably do for me TBH). Check eBay too – lots get sold on and they’re pretty hard to completely knacker.

Depending on desk space, go for the smallest one you think you can use – I’ve worked at client’s sites where they had A3 tablets and most people just set them up to use a corner of the tablet rather than the whole thing. A5 would probably be fine for most people.
