wow! - what an awesome bike - haven't seen one of those in years! - was it just leaning against that post when you found it?

See them signs all the time, but then I have ridden the pentlands a lot. Just look out for the red flags (or lights at night).
The SX OTOH, ace! Didn't think any of them were left alive, ride it harder

Thats the descent off Capelaw to Dreghorn isn't it?
Think there's a reason that trail gets called 'tank tracks'.

The SX frame was a reasonably recent 2nd hand purchase and I expect there is rather more chance of it hurting me that any unexploded ordnance!

Yip - I was over there looking for these downhill trails I've been hearing about. Not sure if I found them or not.

It does look like that. It had me thinking of the Father Ted big/far-away sketch.

Despite what some of the niche-mongers on here would say, that bike is awesome!

Awesome looking bike. I'm scared just looking at it.

Looks like my 11 year old has attacked it with the stickers normally attached to MBUK... How old are you?
Posted 1 year ago # -
A lot older than 11, that's for sure. All those stickers were there when it came out of the factory though.

When I was a kid we used to head up to the ranges to pick up those 'suspicious objects'. Its surprising how many unexploded thuderflashes and unfired blank bullets are lying around. We used to have a great time setting them off, throwing them in bonfires or throwing rocks at blanks till they went bang. Thinking back it makes me shudder at how lucky we were not to have put some holes in ourselves.

Thankfully I didn't see an unexploded ordnance. Also didn't see anything that looked like a downhill trail either though.
