Heading over to Dalby this weekend, never been before. Any recommendations on which trails to do? How many XC trails are there and are they clearly marked?

The red is great - nice and long with a lot of variety. You can branch off an do the World Cup loop as well.
Take spare pads if it's wet.

Same advice here too, the World Cup course is just passed Dixons Hollow jump park, off the side of the field opposite. Gee is right about the wet, you can do a set of pads in a wet lap of the red! still fun tho

Bloody hard work to do the full red, make sure you're fit!

Cheers for the advice guys, how longs the red route roughly? Do they all start from the visitor centre?

red route is 24 miles
you can start from the visitors centre or up at Dixons hollow
I prefer Dixons hollow as a start point, then you can stop off at the cafe at the VC just over half way round for coffee/cake

Red is
2724, can't remember if its miles or km, feels like miles but expect it's km
and yes can be started / finished at visitor centre
enjoy
[EDIT] so glad to hear it's miles :)[/EDIT]

Sounds like it will be the red route then on sunday, weathers not looking too bad either

Red is 22 miles acording to the bike hire blurb, did it a few weeks back, 8 pints of beer the night before wasn't the best prep! The black boardwalk and rock sections are good fun, and not really that 'black'
Enjoy

There's loads of unmarked routes and acres of moorland trails as well, it's not just about the (one of several) forest (/s).

Campsite/B&B recommendations nearby?

There's a campsite by the gates to the forest and another one right in the middle on the red route or easy spin across to Dixon's hollow
Both OK
