    Does anyone know how to cut a carbon steerer tube SAFELY?! What's the right tool for the job?

    Would say use a hacksaw with a nice sharp blade and go gently.

    last one i did i bolted on my stem upside down where i wanted the cut to use as a guide and incase i scratched it which i did 🙂 and a junior hacksaw . Nice and careful and dont breath it the dust 🙂

    I've always used a hacksaw with no problems. Use a new blade and perhaps wrap some tape round the inside of the tube.
