The forecast for Sunday looks good but there has been a fair bit of rain in Bristol of late so I was wondering how it’s riding at the moment.

was riding there just over two weeks ago and it was pretty wet, especially as you get to the bottom of some of the downhills. With all the rain we’ve had a doubt its go much better. I’m leaving it alone for a bit so it can dry out.

I was out Sunday – trail holes had water/mud in them, but anywhere exposed to the sun and wind were dry and fast as… Trails at the bottom of the wood were wet and muddy, but not deep gloop so it was still quite fast, if a bit comical on corners. The Majik trail was good, for example. I expect the old DH, which is really blown-out lower down, is quite tricky at the moment.

Pop a crud guard on, let 5psi out your tyres and go for it.

I’d agree with buzz. Was out last Sunday and most trails were far better than we had expected. The wind is helping to dry them out fairly quickly.

Mendips..nothing to see there at all at the moment (whistles).
All trails are not worth riding at all (Humming).
