So sinse my Rockhopper has become my commuting bike, it doing pretty well, though it quite heavy for a cummiting bike(along river paths),even with pretty slick tyres and some XT wheels(rim brake)

I thinking about doing my first Tri soon and kno i going to get butchered on the bike with all those 40 something and their 3k carbons 😛 …

But i wondering is there anything i should do/change to the rockhopper to make it a better commuting bike/possible Tri bike??(carbon forks ect)

Or should i just make do with what i got and save for a new bike(which most likely going to be a FS/29er HT, so would have to wait a while before buying cof cof 3rd bike, omg three bikes allready)

    advice welcome.

Wait and get a road bike. Use it to get fir on then enjoy the Rockhopper more cos your fit. Then you can use it for Tri by adding aerobars!
