Making the switch over to Continental as our tyre supplier and putting together our order now.

I'm unsure how conti's are size wise comparatively.. are they big or small for their measurements?

I'm looking particularly at the Race King and Speed king. Do I want 2.0(race)/2.1(speed) or 2.2(race)/2.3(speed) considering that I'd run 2.1 in Kenda SB8, El Moco etc.
Then Mountain king.. 2.4 or 2.2?

2.2 Trail King will be our work horse XC guide tire – Trail King is new name for Rubber Queen.. apparently Rubber Queen didn't sell well enough because of the 'queen' reference!

    Thanks

2.4 mountain king is only a tiny bit bigger than a 2.1 kenda SB8.

rubber queens are a fair bit bigger than mountain kings for the same nominal size.

Kenda are, freakily enough, almost accurate… Of the ones I've used all come up to within a 10th or so of an inch of the claimed size, most are bang on. Conti aren't so much big or small compared to the claimed sizes, just wildly varying, even within their own range. Really irritating.
