I had a rather spectacular sledging accident. Now i cant type, remember photo taking this morning ( but they were on the computer screen when i got in) and everything is a deja vu and its like ive dreamed everything before but i dont think i have.
Anywhoo ive been a bit nauseous but nothings happened just wondered if you all have some tips to sort this ou.

they closed our local hospital.. and its a snow day and my parents are at work so getting fars an issue.
@bananaworld it was just a high speed standing up next second on head accident.. i think i made more distance on my head than i did standing up.
Get to A&E straight away even if it means paying for a taxi. I am sure your parents wouldn't mind forking out for the fare if you can't afford it.

But snow or not, I'd want to be looked at for that & I never normally bother with docs etc.

ime, wait for 3 hours for someone to call you back, at which point they tell you to go to A&E. With head injuries, no question, go straight to A&E.

I am with you there - it did sound pretty serious but he did seem to be taking our advice so hopefully he did (didn't mean to sound too flippant in the last post).

I had a nasty case of concussion after a bike accident. I kept repeating myself immediately after the accident but all i can remember is coming round in hospital not knowing what the heck was going on. earliest thing i could remember before the accident was about 6 months before it happened!!
gradually over the course of the day my memory came back but like the OP i felt very groggy, thoughts were confused and i kept feeling like i'd pass out any minute. i was so worried i'd not wake up that i called the nurse using the button but that didn't do much good as she spoke french, then i remembered i was on holiday!
anyway, i did wake up and was basically fine although kept having flashbacks for a month or so.
i was wearing a helmet too, but it wasn't full face so didn't do very much as it was mainly my face that hit the ground.
hehe kinda forgot about this thread.
All went well, got pretty bad whiplash though!

I had server concussion when at school along time ago and ended up staying in hospital for 2 nights for observation. Strangely one of the problems was I couldn't stop being sick.
