    Anyone know of a .ts file player i can download please.
    Tried VLC and Media player but they wont have it.
    Want something easy to use as i know bugger all about changing file types etc…..

    A quick Google for .ts and codec seems to throw up a number for free codecs. A Windows codec aught to allow Windows Media Player to play .ts files (I think) but someone might be able to be more enlightening.

    I’d suggest downloading the amusingly named gspot to find out what codec it requires, and then go from there. Once you’ve got the right codec installed, theoretically at least, pretty much anything should play it.

    http://filext.com/file-extension/ts would suggest that it’s a “Transport Stream” MPEG-2 file, but using the file association alone to identify a file type is unreliable.

    If you don’t get anywhere, it’d help to have a bit of background on what it is / where it came from. It could be something proprietary.
