When visiting (and staying with) friends or relatives that you know think instant coffee is acceptable, is it out of order to arrive with your own cafetiere & fresh coffee?

I keep some special nasty cheap coffee at the back of my cupboard for unwanted visitors, referred to as fucoffee.

Basically sounds like you can’t take a hint 😉

Would buying them a cafetiere & coffee for xmas be going a step too far?

Then we could ask to “try it out” after xmas dinner.

Buy them an Aeropress and a bag of ground coffee for filter machines 🙂

I take an Aeropress with me when visiting non-coffee appreciating rellies. It’s better than spewing their instant coffee out when you realise how rank it is.
