    10 or so of us are going to do the Climachx tomorrow.
    It's only about 40 miles away and the way the snow is melting around here I think the going will be wet but clear of snow.
    What do you think the chances of that are?

    Not much help,but if you do go can you post up what the trails are like as I want to go there in the next week or so….Cheers

    Well we're back from mach. They've had a lot less snow than us and what little was there was pretty slushy. There was quite a lot of black ice on the forest roads, just to keep you awake.
    On the start of the final decent there was a fair bit of ice but conditions were pretty good. We even dropped lucky with the rain as it dried up as we pulled into the carpark.

    Took us just over two hours round trip but that was starting from the middle of Mach total of 19 miles and 1800ft of climbing.
