Where can I get some shorter cleat bolts than the ones that came with my egg beater cleats?

Cut them down a bit.

Last time I bought Crank Bros Mallets (which, to be fair, was a good while ago) they thoughtfully included some shorter clear bolts in the nice box.

So… have you looked in the eggbeater box?

M5 countersunk, the too long ones are 12mm
