Ok been cruising Ebay in a moment of madness and checking out frames – there seem to be quite a few carbon frames for no money being sold out of Hong Kong & China – has anyone on here ever bought one?

On one still have C456’s and Whippets at £250 with no postage charges. At those prices I wouldn’t be looking at the e-bay options.

What size frame are you after?

I have a carbon hardtail full bike for sale at the moment, wasn’t going to split it but would if the frame went 1st!

    Cheers,

    Alan.

16-18″ depending on the frame config – I’m 5’10 with inside leg of 32″.
Have a 16″ Cindercone which fits perfectly.
How much would you want for the frame?

2nd one Looks a bit like an on-one… Slightly.
Difference in price isn’t that much, if it was me I’d go on-one- for the warranty if nothing else!

My frame is a 21″ so think you would be right on the lower limit size wise.

Would be looking in the region of £400 including Hope bottom bracket and headset both 6 months old.

Check out my for sale ad for pictures of the complete bike.

    Cheers Alan

250 quid C456 a no brainer if you’re considering those eBay frames. No way a 21″ will fit you!

Respect to Alan, with that patter you should work in my lbs! Why fit the bike to the person ‘shorter stem, inline post, job will be a good ‘un and you’ll be bang on trend’.

After trying loads of bikes and finding quite often being between sizes. I realised that changing stems and seat posts can get just the right fit.

Can’t blame a guy for trying to sell his bike 😆
