No it’s not. Be careful of giving advice on subjects that involve safety of others when you don’t know the answer for sure.
Speed ratings are the max speed rating for the tyre and should be higher than the vehicle max speed.
Load ratings are the load the tyre is rated to within its specification (i.e. max load at max speed). Higher load tyres tend to have stiffer sidewalls, more responsive turning but also slightly faster break-away at the limits, but most importantly on scottish roads they’re a bit more pothole resistant due to the stiffer sidewalls.
None of it changes wear ratings necessarily.
You need to ensure you’re not changing your load rating to one lower than specified by the manufacturer, higher is fine.
