    Buying 1.5 L, allowance is 1 L so how much duty will I pay?

    Dunno but going *into* Chicago I saw these three scottish guys get stopped by the customs guys for trying to bring a bottle in (which may have been JD).

    The Scottish guys drank the contents on the spot between them in about five minutes.

    Then they were allowed through.
