Is it supposed to go through the swingarm like the gear cable?

    What a ball ache.

Not so bad once you get the knack. First time took a while. Easy now.

As it happens the rear needs a bleed anyway so it could be worse but I'm struggling with my bike building mojo as it.

    Any tips? 🙂

don't bother sticking it through the chainstay. it's a faff if you want to take things apart to service etc. just route it on top of the chainstay using some of those stick on cable guide things and some of those plastic handcuff things – ah yes, zip ties.

The easiest option is to thread a small allen key into the hose once you can see it and pull it through that way.

I use two scriber type tools, the first goes under the hose to support and hold it tight to the arm so I can easily get the second one into the end to guide it out.

Nope, but I do have the gnarliest balance bike in all the land 🙂
