Captainflashheart, be wary of the most recent two Black Keys albums (Attack and Release and Brothers) both have their moments but neither are a patch on Rubber Factory or Magic Potion.
Chulahoma is great as well, especially if you like your Junior Kimbrough.
Wish I had sound on my computer so I could listen to the links above. Can anyone comment on the Oblivians or the Reigning Sounds? Amazon seems to be trying to hawk them to me but I haven't heard anything.

Apart from Rory Gallagher.....Blues rock is s**t,music to listen to in a company car, generic pulp for the emotionally and musically immature to listen to and the umimaginative hackneyed and cliched to play, think it makes them "quirky" and read graphic novels,probably wet the bed in their teens as well. Imho anyway, yours may differ

Of course I can, because it is. it's no more or less generic than any pub band, the only real difference with srv is that he put more pratice in, but it's still an essentially turgid and creatively bankrupt genre.
