Any recommendations on a back bag for some light weight bike packing?

Got some multiday bothy rides coming up and looking for a decent pack.

Really dont want to go down loading the bike up route

If you really want to stick everything on your back then I’d consider something from Wingnut … i’d still be strapping a dry bag on the bars though just to shift some bulk/weight.

Something like this would be good:

Alpkit Gourdons are pretty light, pretty cheap and waterproof to boot. I like mine, although have got other packs that are more comfortable on the back (but heavier like my Deuter Alpine 30).

Depending on what your budget is, I think I’d buy some bags for the bike instead…have you seen the offerings from bikepack.eu? You would be able to get a seat bag and bar bag for around £100.
Any ride, let alone a multiday one, can be hard work with a big pack on your back if you’re not used to it.
