current bike , orange patriot, junior T forks and fox vanilla rear shock, a real nice bike when its rough, its not the sort of bike to whiz down the canal banks , double locks etc, to the shops general mincing around, ive got 300 squid, do i get a hard tail job done , or change forks and rear shock and have an all rounder , HELP i dont know what to do.cheers in advance.

buy a 2nd hand hardtail, compromising the patriot to use as more of a 'run-about' sounds like a terrible idea (unless you limited for bike storage space).
as per most questions on here, the answer is probably.. "sounds like you
needwant another bike"... go ahead we won't mind.
