This time of year I'd go for something with paddles!……not very rocky round theses parts so a x bike would be fine or a HT with clown bike wheels.

most of the year for general 3hr rides with singke track; got to be a hardtail with good mud clearance. ive been on a cotic soul for some time now and paired with reba team 120s maxle have hit the sweet spot for my riding. 29ers ride well(2 guys i ride with have no probs). id love a full suss 4/5inch for good weather times…given the choice of one, id go hardtail, nice ti. 120/130 forks

My Ti Altitude with 100mm forks when it's dry and fast, or a 120mm HT with the short stem style set-up for general stuff. i ride there a fair bit, from cranham to randwick's old dh runs. always prefer a hardtail there.
