I'll start with this
I'll start with this
I always quite like the insleave of Bon Jovi Slippery When Wet
I've always liked this one
and this one
Surely... (complete with real zip).
First of all, Unknown Pleasures is much better than Closer

It's the best album of the decade - is it the best cover too?

This one almost said the record would be a classic before you'd opened the case
A classic:

Cover art still relevant in the digital age:

does exactly what it says on the tin:
How about...
Ummm...A band called Dying Fetus with there chart topping Praise The Lord? The wacky world of Metal always pulls it out the bag.
It's got to be the cover of The Strokes, Is This It. Little else comes close!
Surely it's this?
(crap picture.......sorry!)
i always liked this...

but this just makes me thinks a lot

Doesn't look like much, but the cd cover had those ridges on that made the images move as you tipped it back & forward - 3 or 4 others in the gatefold of a more interesting, contortional nature.
Tool cd art - doubles the value of the album every time.
Lost Horizons...great album! But...

And....was Mr Jarre really ahead of his time with this one?
If only for all the hidden messages/song references.
For the hippies
Jazz has it:

and just about every Blue Note release...
This is one of my favourites in my collection...
errr, worst album cover is Virgin Killer by the Scorpions, seriously dodgy.. In fact, I'm no way posting it..
Think we've done this one before but
that J-M Jarre was what I thought of first
best "package" - PIL, metal box or maybe the spiritualised one
most indulgent - almost any Yes album
BEST - kate Bush, can't remember which one but she made a man of me
da funk
