Meeting friends in Bath centre for lunch on Sunday, need some suggestions for places to eat.
Thinking decent pub, so we can get a roast, alternatives appreciated though – just not Jamie’s Italian/Wagamama/Slug & Lettuce/All Bar One!

In the arcade there is a big Chinese which does a good all you can eat buffet

There’s also the Marlborough Tavern, http://www.marlborough-tavern.com/
On the corner of Marlborough Buildings and Julian Road, just above the Royal Crescent and close to Victoria Park. Very highly regarded for food.

Aye, know about the chinese, would rather try elsewhere – can get chinese anywhere.

Salamander / Raven look likely, cheers y’all.

Forgot – The Hudson at the top of Walcott Street does great food but not sure it’s open Sunday lunch and more steaks and the like than roast dinner.

    The Hop Pole.

Well kept Bath Ales on tap and some of the very best gastro pub grub I’ve ever tasted.

Also a cosy and atmospheric beer garden in case of more luvverly hot weather.
