it looks like mickey mouse and it's as cheap as chips.... I want one

I like my little helmet lights mouted as far back and as low as possible, having something that big that high up and thar far foreward is going to turn MTBers into nodding dogs!

Star Trek, I was thinking
Is this made by the same people as the DX one then?

crikey, isn't that what they use on the back of the space shuttle?

yep it's a magicshine so the batteries may be a bit iffy and the delivery could take a couple of weeks(ish) but It'll probably be under £100.00

not exactly a problem with the clocks changing in a couple of weeks... start thinking about it mid July. It'll probably be under £100.00
Wha-Hay!

That depends on how long you stay out for after work, no?
I run without lights for only about 6-8weeks a year.

Indeedy, but to be fair most ppl don't, or get in there now ahead of the rush

So I'm guessing it's still a P7 in the middle and 2 P4s strapped to the sides?
Posted 2 years ago # -
Mentioned on mtbr they were XPGs but I couldnot see owt in the blurb .
Still underperforming though for 6 led dies but pretty cheap
xpgs behind those difusers are going to be pretty much useless beyond 30 feet must be intended for close up

Sorry my bad XPEs in the pods
they say 1400 lumens so "900" for the P7 they would then need to power the pods @ 1amp to get the other 500 lumens.

Mickey Mouse?
Harley Davidson's been using this configuration for decades! Works great!

I quite like it, in a strange and confusing way. Geoman obviously likes it too, I think he came a couple of times during that writeup.

Think it would be ok bar mounted over the stem otherwise will seem a bit lop-sided don't you think ?
How about the same controller on the 900 ?Posted 2 years ago # -
make a wind powered one, the faster you ride the brighter the light!
Posted 2 years ago # -
No Northwind, that wouldn't do it...
I was involved from the outset on the design of the light. Individual aluminum light housing "pods" improve heat dissipation and increase the light's life...
Check this out (click). The Magischine 900 will not have the Command Control (remote switch). We've reserved that one for the Magicshine 1400.
