    … they are/were.

Tonight I am mostly listening to Skunk Anansie and drinking cider.

I did listen to an Amy Macdonald cover of Dancing in the Dark which I liked.

Echo & the bunnymen & the Icicle works at the moment.

Love the way YouTube leads to other stuff & other stuff…

Watched 127hours earlier, what a great film. Can’t get that Sigur Ros track that plays at the end out of my head now.

Good call. Any band whose ‘best of’ album is called A Slight Case Of Overbombing is worth remembering.

Carter USM are another that come to mind.

The Cult’s first album “Dreamtime” stands up surprisingly well. They were pretty damn good until they became a parody of bad metal on the 3rd album I think.

Although, they got good again on “The Cult” album

Most recently… Madder Rose & Pavement (although they never really went away, I just didn’t play ’em so much).

Pavement are one of the very few bands who I find their stuff timeless. (Badly constructed sentence of the day, but i’m sure you know what I mean!)
