Avid Elixir 5's.
Come to do the first pad change on these
Reset the pistons as best as possible with a ring spanner. No good. Brakes jammed on with new pads (which are genuine Avid so no thickness issues).
They have obviously self-adjusted as the old pads worn, but now will not go back, at all. I've no manual - am I missing an Avid-specific trick (Shimanos and hopes lways been fine).
I'm loathe to let fluid out as they actually came out the bag with a pretty decent, solid factory bleed (which is not too common).
Have also tried pumping them, leaving overnight with levers clamped etc etc, no good.
