We went to see it as a ‘best of a bad lot’ choice the other week. Glad we did as well, funny if nothing else.

Noticed a couple of billboards up for other films that caught my eye, a remake of Total Recall? (seems pointless, effects didn’t seem lacking in the first one, unless they manange to CGI a girl with FOUR boobs! 8) ) also another Despicable Me which I can’t help but look forward to, enjoyed the first one.

Watched it last weekend with the kids. Seen bits of iron man, but none of the others. It was pretty much self contained entertainment. Some good lines, and it was easy to see why Capt America was reviewed highly (will watch that next). Rdj gets the best lines by far.

JW writing for RDJ was always going to be lightning in a bottle. Tony Snark, heh.

like Thor’s ‘he’s adopted!’ call from the background about Loki

I found that slightly offensive, actually.

were you adopted flaperon? because i went to the cinema with the national school of adopted people (NSOAP) and they all laughed at that bit, proper violent laughter like only the adopted can pull off 8)
