Recently swapped the interstella mileage Mondeo for an 06 Audi.

The Audi came with an ipod lead in the glove box, so I eneded up with an ipod touch.

The Audi factory fit radio is the concert radio, with sterring wheel controls and info display in the instrument cluster.

Still with me ?.

Anyway, the radio only reads 6 playlists on the ipod.
I’ve done a bit of research and it appears that this is a common fault / issue.
There are after market adaptors to enable the factory fit radio to read all the playlists on an ipod and generally allow navigable access to the entire music library on the ipod.
( At the moment, the radio sees each playlist as a CD.
The radio only counts upto 6 CDs, after which, its anyone’s guess as to which track it will play next )

Does anyone here have any experience of this and are there any recommendations for which adaptor I should acquire and where from ?.
