Can you ever get over a cat allergy? Mr Chickadee is super allergic but I would like a cat more than anything else in the world (apart from him of course…)

My wife loves cats but is also pretty allergic. With her it can go either way. When we lived in a fair-sized house and had a cat, she was fine, her allergy became pretty minimal.

However, at the moment, we live in a tiny studio and are therefore at pretty close quarters with our 2 cats. My other half’s allergy has developed into asthma for which she is on fairly full-on treatment (having never previously had any issues). Her doctor says she’s an idiot…

He’s my baby boy!! A Bengal f1, he’s a proper handful. I’ve got two rescue cats aswell, poor Louis Kitton was found tied to a tree at about 6 weeks old. He’s a healthy 3 month old lapcat now, I don’t know how people can be so cruel.
