no more wrong than the KKK wearing the burka
No I don't think so - there have been many pieces of art created by the many different religions over the years and some of them are quite beautiful.
Personally I love the music they play in gospel churches....
He he . But I do love it, ok I don't agree with lyrics but the music is fantastic
Ah can't beat a bit of Baptazia
Of course not.
Not wrong, just hypocritical....
That's what I'm feeling Fred. I've thought about going to see some Gospel choirs in action
This is the sort of thing I love listening to
Amen brother
I'm watching this

The Life of Brian Debate, thank god I'm an athiest.
Do you avoid Bach then Elf?
Not at all. I'm atheist - & I love a good ol' hymn. The day thou gavest, Lord, is ended still knocks me for six.
Mind you, I did sing in a church choir for six years.
I love churches, but think God is about as likely as the tooth fairy....
Do you avoid Bach then Elf?
Why on Earth would I avoid Bach?
That would be insane...
That would be insane
surely you mean insayn?
No because that's not an actual word.
It aynt?
Bach wrote his music for the Church...
Right, and?
Sister Act rules
As long as you are a woman, its fine.
Right, and?
aynd, surely?
Ahahahaha! Right on statsbrother!
I do not believe in the existence of a Houns. Thus the question is irrelevant.
Oh I'm real and I'm gonna smite your ass
Feel my second coming
That'll be yer IBS playing up again Hounz.
I defy any atheist to go here

here

or here

..and not be impressed.
So yes you are allowed to like the music.
Course you are. Not a trace of hypocrisy about it either IMO.

Based on that, does that mean it's hypocritical to like the architectur of Salisbury cathedral if you're not "in with the big man"?
As above, religion has been responsible for some beautifull architecuter and art. Doesn't mean you can't like it unless you're a God botherer.
I like French rap, the Eifell tower and the Louvre, but I hate the French...
there was an R4 prog about Hezbullah this week. Fantastic music, politics well dodgy...
dont see why not tbh but FFS dont convert
If you're one of those devout atheists that insists religion has nothing positive to offer then clearly it would be hypocritical. Otherwise, there's no shame in accepting that god has inspired greatness, irrespective of his actual existence
