looking at a way of getting downloaded vids and photos easily onto LCD screen/tv, is the Apple tv a decent option. I have an Xbox 360 but find that when it tries to get vids from my windows media center laptop, vids wont play..
    Anyone got one?

Yes. Film choices a bit limited at the moment, but am sure will increase over time. Guess you can judge for yourself on iTunes though. Price aren't bad in my opinion relative to Sky Box office (SD quality of which is poor in my opinion).

Was very impressed with the quality of HD rentals compared to Blu-ray. Seemed to me (I am no AV buff mind you) that the quality is as good (am only running it through a 32 inch Sony BE2 telly). Surround sound all good too. So pretty impressed with it. I only paid £60 though (used some Amazon vouchers).
