Does anyone use these for running 1×9? Seem like they could be a good idea but good ideas sometimes dont work out in reality in MTB land….

If your chain stays in with a 1×9 setup without a chain device of some form stopping the chain from coming off you're either riding around fields or seriously slow*. What a useless overpriced idea.

*No doubt I'll get a stream of replies of people who don't have this issue. Sorry but you're slow, try harder :o)

Well, an MRP 1.X weighs ~60g and costs ~£37. It will have to cost less than that to be a worthwhile alternative!
