Seem to remember they got a reasonable review in Singletrack a while back, and I'm after a new pair of shoes for general trail-riding – nothing too racing-snake!
    Any opinions?
Also, how do they come up size-wise? I'm a UK 10/45, a bit broad of foot, and tend to need a roomy toe-box.
    Cheers.

Mavic = narrow. Wanted to get a pair of their Alpines, but oh my were they narrow…! Great shoes, mind you!

I've got a pair, used them for a few cross country camping trips. Really good mix of lightweight upper and grippy aggro sole, much better for hike-a-bike than the carbon race slippers I had previously.

I can't remember what size I got though, and the number has rubber off the label, they do seem to fit very slightly narrower than a Specialized, didn't think they were quite as narrow as shimano though. if anything though, I do find my wee toe feeling a fit squashed, maybe not good news for the broad of foot!
